Description

Solar autonomous systems are characterised by the absence of a network. In stand-alone systems, the energy from the solar modules and/or wind generator is stored in batteries, which are then used by the inverter or directly by the potential loads in the DC loads. Such a complex full power plant needs different equipment to operate under all operating conditions.

Layer Electronics is showing GREEN ISLAND, the only stand-alone system that makes it possible to have electricity where there is none, thanks to a single set of equipment that can be supplied by solar modules, a wind generator and a backup source such as the power grid or a gen set.

Inside there may be solar and wind charge controllers, a battery charger from the mains/gen kit and an inverter if the customer also needs AC.

GREEN ISLAND can be fully customised to suit the customer’s needs; it is possible to change the voltage and wattage of the equipment to best suit your needs.

GREEN ISLAND has been designed with the scope to optimise spaces, simplify installation to reduce wiring and thus respond to the increasing and growing need to have all these elements in just one piece of equipment.
